Price: Free with certification
Level: Entry (no previous experience needed)

The course will teach you how to create a flexible and accessible online portfolio using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. The greatest thing is that the course is provided by the University of Michigan and the most professional lecturers in that field.

What will you learn during this course?

  • Use Javascript to make interactive web pages;
  • Describe the basics of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS3);
  • Make changes to websites by using the Document Object Model (DOM);
  • Use responsive design to allow the website to be viewed on a variety of platforms.

After finishing the course you will be given a hands-on project that you need to complete. To complete the Specialization and receive a certificate of completion, you must effectively complete the project(s).

During that final, hands-on project, you will create a professional-quality online portfolio to demonstrate your progress as a web creator and your understanding of accessible web design.

This will include your ability to develop and execute a responsive site that makes use of tools to make a site available to a broad range of users, including those with visual, audial, physical, and cognitive impairments.
